LiveWire Music
Brief Introduction / Background
Livewire is an inclusive music development programme, ran by Close House, for all young people in Herefordshire. Anyone aged 11-22 can get involved in Livewire, whether they are accomplished musicians or just starting out, we are able to cater for all abilities.
We help young people to play, create, write, record and perform high quality original music and prepare for upcoming gigs. We host regular workshops, courses, 121 tutoring sessions, gigs and recording sessions and all of our sessions are relaxed and informal.
The professional musicians and workshop leaders who work for Livewire are dedicated to supporting, nurturing and inspiring young people, helping them to grow in confidence, meet other like-minded musicians and to develop skills in a safe, positive and supportive environment.
